Yes, I’m delighted to report that I’ve won an award at the International Marketing and Output Database Conference IMAODBC 2010 in Vilnius (Lithuania). All participants (and speakers) they’ve just honored me with the Bo Sundgren International Award for 2010. Thank you!

This award honors every year one of the speakers of IMAODBC Conference for the best presentation. I’ve talked about Data Sharing, as you can read here.

A while ago, I had a speech in a Workshop with a colleague. The subject was Data Visualization and it was also a good opportunity to talk about Widgets, Mash-Up and Data Sharing. Here the presentation.

Sharing on the Web a whole Web application. With the following example we show you how it’s possible to promote a new idea about statistical data dissemination. In this case, the application ask for data demo.istat.it, the italian Web site for population data dissemination…
Instruction:
1) Open “WordPad” o “Block Notes” on your PC. (No Windows? Any text editor is OK)
2) Copy/Paste the following “embed code”
3) Save your document on Desktop with .html extention (ie. netmig.html)
4) Double Click on the “netmig.html” icon
5) Enjoy!
